Important Update…

ODH Bureau of Environmental Health and Radiation Protection is excited to announce the release of the new ODH Accela Solution online data system. The ODH Accela Solution is replacing the current HealthSpace solution and provides easy and intuitive online accessibility to apply for licenses, permits, and other services from ODH and your participating Local Health District (LHD) for the following programs: Food, Pools, Campgrounds, Spas, Body Art, Resident Camps, Sewage, Private Water, and Agricultural Labor Camps.

Important Updates for Contractors and Facility Owners:

  • The ODH Accela Solution provides contractors and facility owners access to the online Accela Citizen Access (ACA) Portal which can be accessed from your computer or mobile device using Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari web browsers (most recent two versions are supported). Communication between the ACA Portal and the database is near real-time.
  • The ODH Accela Solution and the ACA Portal will be going live for ODH and LHDs in two releases – May 2025 and December 2025. ODH will be live with the new system on May 16, 2025. See the LHD transitioning and go-live schedule below for your LHD’s go-live date.
  • As ODH and your LHD transition to the new ODH Accela Solution, the HealthSpace Live Portal website will permanently stop accepting application submissions for ODH and all LHDs. The transition period takes about a week for each LHD. You can either wait to submit your online application once the ODH Accela Solution is turned on for ODH or your LHD, or you can submit a hard copy application to ODH or your LHD as applicable. ODH will be in this transition period from 5/10/2025 to 5/15/2025. See the LHD transitioning and go-live schedule below for your LHD’s transition period.

  • Information previously submitted in the HealthSpace system will be viewable in the new ACA Portal by using a secure PIN number that will be emailed to you shortly after go-live. If you don’t receive an emailed PIN Number, contact ODH (for applications submitted to ODH) or your LHD (for applications submitted to LHD) to obtain a PIN Number. The email will either be from an odh.ohio.gov or Accela.com domain name.
  • The ACA Portal supports secure online credit card payments for ODH and LHDs. Check with your LHD to see if this option is available. Find your local health department on ODH’s website.
Welcome to the Seneca County General Health District Inspection Website.
